The Monarch Butterfly has one of the longest migrations of any creature on Earth. At certain times of year they converge on various locations creating a blanket of orange/red and black wings.
The original painting is textured with an under-layment of thick acrylic paste that is painted over. The image continues around each edge. Artwork is self-framing with 2-inch gallery wrapped canvas with hanging wire attached. It hangs flat against the wall.
