Purchase a tote bag featuring the painting "Running Stream" by Carrie MaKenna.   Our tote bags are made from soft, durable, poly-poplin fabric and include a 1" black strap for easy carrying on your shoulder.   All seams are double-stitched for added durability.   Each tote bag is machine-washable in cold water and is printed on both sides using the same image.

reeds ticking like time
stone remains ancient and still
stream ever changing

Carrie MaKenna creates nature inspired artwork that is greatly influenced by Japanese Gardens and Haiku Poetry. We take this opportunity to share our hearts and minds with the people, history, environment, culture and wildlife of Japan that has been devastated by the recent earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster.

The original painting is textured with an under-layment of thick acrylic paste that is painted over. The image continues around each edge. Artwork is self-framing with 2-inch gallery wrapped canvas with hanging wire attached. It hangs flat against the wall.

My intention is to draw the viewer into an experience of their own relationship with themselves, the world and understandings of life, love, joy and peace.
